DOHA: Qatar is taking part in the International Industrial Trade Fair (INNOPROM) that was officially opened yesterday in the city of Yekaterinburg in Russia.
The three-day fair is held annually in Yekaterinburg, and spreads over an area of approximately 50,000 square meters, said a statement. It is attended by senior officials from the host country, in addition to delegations from approximately 95 countries.
Each year one of the leading countries in economic development and the volume of trade turnover with Russia is granted the status of “Partner Country”. This year, the Republic of Korea has been granted this status.
H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and industry headed the delegation of the state of Qatar to the event. His Excellency met on the sidelines of the exhibition with Denis Manturov, the Russian Minister of Industry and Commerce. The two sides discussed possible areas of co-operation between the State of Qatar and Russian Federation.
