Vodafone Qatar has announced that it has been named in the LinkedIn Top Companies list of the ten best workplaces to grow a career in Qatar.

It is the only telecommunications and technology provider to be included in this years’ list, which is an annual ranking aimed at helping individuals identify the workplaces that will enable them to develop professionally.

The list is put together by the LinkedIn News team using a methodology built on exclusive data analysing the career paths of millions of professionals on LinkedIn around the world.

The research has seven key pillars, each revealing an important element of career progression: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background.

The ten companies listed in the Qatar rankings have been celebrated due to their efforts to help employees build a professional foundation that sets them up for success both at the company and beyond.

Khames Mohammed Al Naimi, Chief Human Resources Officer, Vodafone Qatar, commented: “We’re delighted to be recognised as one of the best places to grow a career in Qatar, alongside some other leading organisations in our market.

A big part of our success is due to our focus on recruiting Qatari talent and developing them to build their careers in the telecommunications industry. Equipping our team with opportunities to learn and develop professionally has always been a priority for us at Vodafone Qatar.

The past year has changed the world of work irreversibly but our team spirit, combined with our cutting-edge technology, has empowered us to adapt to and support our employees to embrace the new challenges that we all face and continue to thrive in their careers.”

Vodafone Qatar is committed to Qatarisation and developing its current and future talent through its range of employee and graduate initiatives.

It has several schemes in place which aim to recruit and develop Qatari nationals and support the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Vodafone Qatar recently concluded a hybrid Internship Programme and Telecoms Mini-MBA 2020, as part of its continued commitment to developing the skills of Qatari youth.
