DOHA: Car number plate making is becoming a major activity at the traffic department as the turnover has been increasing by an incredible 25 percent annually, says a senior official of the department. Mohamed Bakheet Al Madadi said during the first quarter (January to March) of 2014 more than 158,000 car number plates, among them only 54 for motorcycles, were made by the car number plate wing of the traffic department.
