Kuwait: Kuwait's Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday 1002 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases over a 24-hour span, increasing the total number of infections to 172,996, while six fatalities were recorded to raise the death toll to 975.

In a statement to KUNA, the Ministry of Health said that the number of people who are receiving treatment at intensive care units amounted to 96, taking the total number of cases that still receiving the necessary medical care to 9,310 cases.

The Statement added that the number of swab tests conducted over the past 24 hours reached 10271 and the whole number of such tests stood at 1,618,576.
Earlier, the ministry confirmed 591 fresh recovery cases, added to a total of 162,711 cured people so far.
