Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain with H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari, Cultural Adviser at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar's candidate for the post of Director-General of the Unesco, at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad.
Islamabad: H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kawari, Cultural Adviser at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar's candidate for the post of Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural (Unesco), met Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad.
During the meeting, Qatar's candidate conveyed the greetings of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the President and his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to the Pakistani people. For his part, the President entrusted Dr Al Kawari to convey his greetings to Emir, wishing him continued good health and happiness and the people of Qatar further development and prosperity.
Dr Al Kawari has also met with the adviser to the prime minister on foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz, and Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of State for Information Broadcasting and National Heritage. The meetings were attended by Qatar's Ambassador to Pakistan Saqr bin Mubarak Al Mansouri.
