Doha: The State of Qatar took part in the 114th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain with the participation of Their Excellencies the GCC Ministers of Finance, Economy and Planning.
Minister of Finance H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari chaired the delegation of the State of Qatar at the meeting. The delegation included Chairman of the General Authority of Customs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Jamal.
Meanwhile, Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Abdullah Al Thani took part in the joint meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee and the Commercial Cooperation Committee, which was held via videoconference.
The committee highlighted the importance of the GCC states continued endeavors to keep pace with the current financial and economic developments and challenges at the regional and international levels; while translating the efforts and achievements in a way that contributes directly to supporting and strengthening the GCC joint economic process.
