DOHA: Dlala Brokerage & Investment Holding recorded a net profit of QR30.6m for the nine month period ended September 30, 2012, compared to QR16.1m for the corresponding period last year.
An interim financial statement disclosed to the Qatar Exchange (QE) yesterday, the company revealed that its earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR1.53 for the period versus QR0.807 for the corresponding period in 2011.
The Board of Dlala Brokerage & Investment Holding announced, in its meeting on October 4, 2012, the election of Dr Mohammad Nasser Al Qahtani as Vice-Chairman of the company.

Qatar Exchange up by 0.27 percent
Doha: Qatar Exchange ended in the green yesterday adding 23.07 points (or 0.27 percent) to advance to 8,501.42 points from 8,478.35 on Thursday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.29 percent to QR136, Qatar Islamic Bank rose 0.39 percent to QR77.10, Qatar Electricity and Water gained 0.68 percent to QR133.20 and Doha Bank was up by 0.55 percent to QR54.70.
The banking and financial sector index was up 1.19 points, the consumer goods and services sector index lost 3.10 points, the industrial sector rose by 1.84 points while the insurance sector dropped by 8.29 points.
