Al Rayyan sign midfielder Mendes

Brazilian midfielder Thiago Mendes poses with an Al Rayyan official after signing a contract with the QNB Stars League (QSL) side until the 2025 season.

Mendes left French side Lyon to join the Qatari club. It is the first major signing for the Lions ahead of the 2023-24 season. Mendes, 31, also had stints with Goiás Esporte Clube, Sao Paulo and Lille.
