Doha: The State of Qatar sent Thursday the first shipment of food aid provided to the Lebanese Army in the sisterly Republic of Lebanon via the Amiri Air Force aircraft of the Qatari Armed Forces.
The State of Qatar announced support for the Lebanese Army with 70 tons of food per month for a year.
The support comes within the framework of the State of Qatar's endeavors and firm commitment to support the Lebanese Republic and stand by its brotherly people, in addition to its firm belief in the importance and necessity of activating joint Arab action.
