Qatar took part in the GCC-EU Conference on Countering Extremist Ideology and Radicalisation, which concluded yesterday at the GCC General Secretariat in the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Director of the Economic and Cyber Crimes Combating Department at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Ali Hassan Al Kubaisi, member of the National Counter-Terrorism Committee headed Qatar’s delegation to the conference. The two-day conference tackled practical and procedural issues related to counter extremism efforts.
