Abdullah Al Khelaifi and Mahmoud Al Khalaf share honours in the Qatar Touring Car Championship (QTCC) fifth round at the Losail International Circuit.

In the first race, Abdullah didn’t start from the front of the grid but he managed to take the lead in the first lap and stayed in front during the whole race. He crossed the checkered flag with a total time of 25:07.198.

“Was a great race. Started in second place and managed to get a good launch to pass Mahmoud and from there I pushed hard to create a gap and controlled the race till the end,” said Al Khelaifi.

Mahmoud Al Khalaf, who started on pole position as he was the fastest driver in the free practice finished in second place and had a strong battle with Saadon Al Kuwari.

“Started on pole but was fourth in the middle of the race due to brake issues. I tried to catch up to the rest and passed to cars to finish second,” said Al Khalaf.
