The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) participated in the high-level meeting held recently at the conclusion of the conferences of the parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions in the Swiss city of Geneva.
The meeting discussed three main themes that featured the prospects to achieve a toxin-free future through the achievement of sustainable development goals 2030 and the opportunities to enhance the implementation of the three agreements through different partnerships , as well as opportunities to reduce pollution and hazardous waste while maintaining economic and social growth.
The meetings to the three conventions agreed on a number of resolutions.
