Fish being tested for infection

DOHA: Food inspectors of the Doha Municipality have taken samples of needle fish (hacol) from Saudi Arabia from the local market for laboratory tests following suspicion of a possible parasitic infection.
The samples have been tested at the Central Food laboratory of the Supreme Council of Health to make sure they are fit for human consumption, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning said in a post on its website yesterday.
