Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from HE Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Djibouti.
During the call, the Djiboutian President expressed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support in confronting the continued blatant Iranian aggression.
For his part, His Highness the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation for Djibouti's position, noting the existing relations between the two countries.
Both sides stressed the importance of an immediate cessation of escalation and prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic means to address outstanding issues, in order to preserve security and stability in the region.
