Karim Boudiaf
Doha: Al Duhail Club has announced the absence of first-team football player midfielder Karim Boudiaf, who underwent surgery yesterday at Aspetar Hospital after sustaining a broken finger in his hand, which will make him miss the matches during the remaining rounds of the QNB Stars League (QSL) season.
In a statement on its official website, Al Duhail Club expressed their hope for the player's quick recovery, wishing him a return to the team soon, as the club did not specify the duration of the players absence from the team.
Portuguese coach Luis Castro will seek to arrange the team’s cards in the remaining confrontations and work to find an alternative, and he knows very well that it is difficult to compensate for the absence of the team’s midfielder Karim Boudiaf, who constitutes a great loss considering the great value represented by the player, as he is one of the main pillars in the squad.
Al Duhail is second in the league standings with 36 points, seven points behind Al Sadd, leaders with 43 points, the team will face, in the 18th round tomorrow the 10th-placed Al Shamal, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
