DOHA: Fourth-placed Al Ahli yesterday edged past Al Kharaitiyat 1-0 to bag three points in their tense Qatar Stars League (QSL) clash.
With their win yesterday, Al Ahli now have a tally of 31 points from 20 matches.
Lekhwiya are at the top of the QSL standings with 43 points followed by El Jaish (36) and Al Sadd (31 points in 19 matches).
Also yesterday, hosts Al Rayyan failed to impress on the pitch when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Umm Salal
In the third match of the night, Al Sailiyah powered to a 2-0 win over Al Khor in a match played at Al Rayyan Stadium.
The QSL action will resume on February 13 with three matches on the card followed by a similar number the next day.
