Muscat: Qatari racer Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah equaled Saturday the number of Rally Wins of the Middle East Rally Championship after winning Oman International Rally.
The record was held by UAE's Mohammed bin Sulayem. Qatar's other driver, Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari, came in second in the championship standings behind Al Attiyah. Al Kuwari on the other hand has 84 points, 18 ahead of third-placed Khalid Al Qasmi. Al Attiyah had already sealed his 11th Middle East Championship in the Jordan rally.
