Doha, Qatar: President of the Civil Service Bureau and Government Development, HE Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, denied circulating rumors that Friday will be a working day during an interview with Qatar TV.
“There is no truth to what is currently being circulated that Friday will be a working day, as we are working on finding the best ways and means for working,” said His Excellency.
HE the CGB President affirmed that there is no change to the current working week structure.
Rumors had been circulating on social media the past weeks regarding the State of Qatar making Friday a working day and converting to a Saturday-Sunday weekend system.
