Doha: On the 152nd birth anniversary of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) organised a beach cleaning at Faraiha under Al Shamal Municipality, which is nearly 120km from Doha.
Several Indian community members represented various affiliated organisations and the ICC Youth wing actively participated. ICC MC under the leadership of PN Babu Rajan led the entire preparation, planning, organising, and executing the task in the most successful way.

The Ambassador appreciated and thanked the efforts of the Indian community and Al Shamal Municipal authorities for active participation, support and is a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation on his 152nd birth anniversary.
The beach cleaning activity is a great way of showing to Qatar and authorities, about our commitment as a responsible resident Indian community in a way of giving back to the nation for what all are getting and staying in Qatar.
