Minister of Culture and Sport H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali yesterday opened the 8th Aspire4Sport Exhibition and Congress at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge Stadium in London.

 

Former England manager Kevin Keegan, one of the star speakers at the two-day congress is seen along with Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.

The two-day conference organised by the Qatar-based Aspire Academy has brought together around 500 attendees, chiefly representatives of football clubs and organisations involved in the game.

The annual meet, which was held earlier in France, Germany and Netherlands, provides a platform to exchange ideas and build networks. The packed programme features speakers such as Kevin

Qatar’s top athlete Mutaz Barshim, a silver medal winner at the Rio Olympics and world champion in high jump event, delivering a talk.
