Doha: The Qatar National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Sudan National Human Rights Committee.
The agreement was signed for NHRC by Secretary General Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah and for Sudan Human Rights Committee by president Amal Hassan El Tinay.
It aims at cooperation in key areas such as dissemination, promotion and protection of human rights, the development of awareness of the principles and standards of human rights, exchange of training, the organisation of training in the international humanitarian law and conducting studies or research on various topics.
