A three-day workshop on e-learning and teaching was held at the main campus of Birla Public School (BPS) as part of the preparation for the second term starting today. Training focused on various applications made available in every classroom through interactive boards using a platform called Destination Success.
The workshop focused on building various skills and concept knowledge in three core areas - Literacy, Numeracy, Surroundings and neighbourhood besides taking up Maths and English.
The school has equipped all classrooms with computer with internet connectivity in 2011. BPS plans to implement tablets in senior classes in the near future.
