Rome, Italy: Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) H E Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani participated in the celebration of the 210th anniversary of the foundation of the Carabinieri held in Rome, Italy, in the presence of President of the Italian Republic H E Sergio Mattarella.
On this occasion, the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) praised the Italian Carabinieri’s long history and professionalism, expressing his confidence that their partnership with Lekhwiya will be a valuable model for international security cooperation.
The ceremony saw the participation of officers from Lekhwiya in the military parade, and was attended by a number of security and diplomatic officials from both countries.
