DOHA: The GCC ministerial committee for Post, Communications and Information Technology (IT) will hold here on Tuesday its 24th meeting under the chairmanship of the Minister of Information and Communications Technology, HE Dr Hessa Al Jaber.
The meeting, with the participation of telecom and IT ministers from other GCC member States, is intended to discuss several topics related to the development of the postal, communication and information technology sectors in the GCC countries in addition to means of enhancing cooperation in these fields.
The meeting will, as well, discuss the recommendations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Committee for Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Undersecretaries 26th meeting which was held in Doha on May 13-14, reports QNA.
They will also discuss several topics including the cooperation between the GCC states and Jordan in these sectors.
