Doha, Qatar: Doha Metro has announced changes to metrolink and metroexpress services operating to and from Sport City Station for Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The temporary change is due to road closures for the Amir Cup Final at Khalifa International Stadium
"All affected routes [metrolink] will operate from alternative stations instead of Sport City Station," it announced.
According to the announcement, metrolink service M310 will run from Al Waab QLM station, Exit 1, and M311 will operate from Al Sudan bus station. Meanwhile, M317 buses will operate from Al Waab QLM station, Exit 2.
Meanwhile bookings for metroexpress services to and from Sport City Station will be suspended for the day. "Passengers travelling to or from Sport City service area are advised to book metroexpress services via Al Waab QLM Station instead," said the transport authority.
