Doha: Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) participated in the sixth edition of Qatar Career Fair and received more than 700 job applications.
SJC’s Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs Abdul Aziz Sheikh said that the Council sought through its participation in the event to attract a number of newly Qatari graduates to join the SJC, a matter that will contribute to realising the concept of human development, which is one of the main pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030.
He said the Council offered over 50 job opportunities during the Career Fair 2013, adding that the SJC assigned a team to welcome job seekers and answer their questions. The information technology section also launched an e-recruitment web page on SJC’s official website www.sjc.gov.qa to receive job applications.
Diplomatic Educational Expo tomorrow
Doha: The Diplomatic Institute at Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar will organise the first Diplomatic Educational Exhibition tomorrow, under the auspices of the Minister of State for Foreign affairs H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah.
National and international universities and research centers at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and the Higher Education Institute at the Supreme Education Council are taking part in the event.
The Diplomatic Educational Exhibition aims to connect regional embassies with Education City universities.
Seminars for the Education City universities and research institutes will be held on the sidelines of the event. The Cultural Attache at the Embassy of the United States in Doha was selected as the guest of honor for the exhibition this year.
