Doha: IIQS Qatar, a professional organisation for Indian Quantity Surveyors, hosted a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event on March 1 at the Concord Hotel in Doha.
The event was focused on the methods of delay analysis and was presented by Haresh Jayanth B Arch, PGDCM, PMP, RMP, PSP a renowned
expert from M/s. Rathmore Consulting.
The event was attended by 60 members of IIQS Qatar, who were eager to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of Quantity Surveying. The attendees were from various organizations, including construction companies, consulting firms, and government agencies.
The event was started by Abdul Basith, the Membership and Public Relations Manager of IIQS Qatar, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of CPD events in the development of the profession.
Avinash Gaikwad, Adviser to the MC, briefed the attendees about IIQS Qatar and its objectives, and the various activities and services it provides to its members. He emphasized the need for continuous learning and development in the field of Quantity Surveying.
The speaker, Haresh Jayanth, delivered an informative presentation on the methods of delay analysis, which are essential in the construction industry. He explained the various techniques used to identify, analyse, and measure delays, and the importance of accurate delay analysis in resolving disputes and claims.
The presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarifications from the speaker.
The event was concluded by Kiran Kumar president to the IIQS Qatar MC, who gave the vote of thanks on behalf of IIQS Qatar. He expressed his appreciation to the speaker, Mr. Haresh Jayanth, and the attendees for their active participation and contribution to the success of the event.
Sunil kumar-General Secretary, Venkat -treasurer, Ganesh- Membership Manager, Rahul - Sports and Recreation Manager also attended the event.
