Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation has announced temporary service changes to protect patients, visitors and staff amid increasing Covid-19 cases in Qatar.
The changes are as follows:
From 9 January 2022, only new outpatient consultations will be seen by their physician face-to-face.
Patients with follow-up appointments will have their appointments conducted by telephone consultation with the physician.
Telephone consultations will be confirmed by SMS and the physician will telephone the patient on the day of the appointment to conduct the consultation.
if the physician decides the patient needs a follow-up in-person consultation, this will be arranged, and the patient will be informed by SMS
