Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan believes the strategic ties between Turkey and Qatar has reached a high level of strength and are developing every day and open new opportunities for both countries, Turkish Ambassador to Qatar Ahmad Dimerok said on behalf of the president during the opening ceremony of the 19th International Business Forum (IBF).
Erdogan said the difficult circumstances in the region necessitate cooperation in the different fields, particularly in the military industries.
He hailed cooperation between member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to pave the way for establishing high-level technology that benefits them.
He noted that many meetings that will take place during the conference will provide opportunities for participant states to know each other well and raise confidence among them.
