Doha: Jayakrishna Menon — Chairman of ABN Corporation, which is based in Qatar, and Director of Norka Roots — conducted a discussion regarding new employment opportunities based in Qatar.
Vice-President of Norka P Ramakrishnan was part of the discussions which were held at the Norka headquarters.
After the end of the meeting, P Ramakrishnan said that Norka Roots was in the process of strengthening its recruitment through different channels for Malayalis who are hoping for better job opportunities overseas.
Norka strives to find better employment opportunities for professionals and skilled workers along with regular workers from all over the world. The visit of Jayakrishna Menon also known as JK Menon, the chairman of the ABN Corporation and the director of Norka roots is a part of providing better opportunities for those looking to be recruited overseas.
As per the discussions held with Menon, it has been agreed that finding employment opportunities in Qatar and conducting a recruitment drive is an important step in this regard.
Menon also stated that the recruitment drive could be done through his company and also through Norka Roots. An agreement has been put across in this regard which will see the convening of an Employers’ Conference in Doha to understand the potential of the new employment opportunities.
This project will ensure that the prospects of job seekers in Qatar where the recruitment drive of Norka Roots is relatively low go up significantly. It is hoped that this recruitment drive will be another step in the growth of Norka Roots according to Norka Roots Vice-President P Ramakrishnan.
