Doha: In cooperation with the Turkish Cultural Center (TCC), Anatolian Club recently held a Turkish language course (level one) under the supervision of Dr. Selcuk Kursad Koca, Director of the TCC in Doha. The course was held as part of Qatar University’s (QU) desire to enhance student activity and the student club management’s means of paying attention to educational activities.
The Anadolu Club’s administrative team explained that the course’s registration saw a high turnout of students. The club received more than 200 applications within 48 hours of the registration announcement, prompting the club’s management to close the registration before the deadline.
It’s worth noting that the course is a simple introduction for students to learn the fundamentals of the Turkish language, and the lesson system was as divided into eight weeks, one hour per week, focusing on four skills: writing, reading, listening, and speaking.
The lecturers expressed their gratitude for the students’ excitement and engagement during the end. The students, for their part, expressed appreciation to their teachers and described the teaching style as a combination of fun and learning.
