Doha: Ministry of Economy and Commerce participates in the 11th annual Career Fair taking place in Qatar University (QU), aimed to introduce the university students to the opportunities and gaps in the labor market and career training opportunities.
The ministry stated that participating for the 4th time is based on its keenness to train national personnel and cooperate with different education institutions in the country to qualify their study bodies for the labor market.
Last year, the ministry was able to offer opportunities to 18 trainees in different fields.
The Qu Career Fair offers a number of scholarship opportunities, all year round training programs and job vacancies in government and private entities. In addition the fair aims to introduce the students to all fields and services offered by the companies and help the students understand the requirements of the companies.
The Career Fair is held until March 9th.
