Doha: Qatari archer Reem Al Saai claimed two gold medals in the eighth edition of the Arab Women’s Clubs Games 2026, organized by the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation and being held from February 2 to 12 with participation of 65 sports delegations from 16 Arab countries competing in nine individual and team sports in one of the largest editions since the start of the event in 2012.

The Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) was represented at the championship by shooters Reem Al Saai, Aisha Al Saai and Maha Abdel Hay.

Al Saai won her first gold medal in the individual recurve bow competition.

The second gold medal was won by Al Saai after she won first place in the elimination rounds of the individual recurve bow competition, following a consistent performance in the final round, ahead of Emirati Maha Al Hosani from Sharjah Women’s Sports Club who finished second, and Emirati Huda Al Ali from Abu Dhabi Archery Club, who ended third on the podium. — QNA
