New York: Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations HE Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani met in New York with the President of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Philemon Yang.
During the meeting, Her Excellency expressed Qatar's aspiration to welcome HE Yang to the Doha Forum 2024, set to take place from December 7-8.
Meanwhile, HE Yang said he was looking for taking part in the forum, which he hailed as a key platform to strengthen international dialogue and cooperation on critical global challenges, including climate change, sustainable development, and conflict resolution.
