Doha: Ooredoo has announced it will become the official partner of the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF).
The sponsorship includes all teams from the National Men’s and Women’s teams, including the national youth teams. The company aims to promote programmes that train and help young talented footballers become the stars of the future.
Ross Cormack, CEO of Ooredoo Myanmar, said: “We are proud to show our support towards Myanmar Football Federation and Ooredoo is committed towards building sports and sportsmanship across the country. Football brings the entire nation together from all walks of life – we believe we have found a great partnership with the MFF. Through our discussions with the MFF we plan on working together to develop communities which will keep us both connected to football fans in Myanmar. We share similar values, so our partnership will work really well for both of us.” Sponsoring the federation continues Ooredoo’s tradition of providing support for international, national, and grassroots sporting activities.
