Doha: FIFA has chosen Dana bint Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of Legal Affairs of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), as a member of the Dispute Resolution Committee of the FIFA Football Court for a four-year term starting in October.
Dana Al Nuaimi’s assumption of this position comes as a real addition to the sports positions held by the distinguished sports cadres from the Qatari football family in the continental and international organisations and federations, and it is the culmination of the studied plans and policies followed for graduating sports cadres at the highest levels in various disciplines.
It is within the context of the direction of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and the SC to benefit and rely on young and qualified Qataris from various sports institutions to occupy international positions in major sports organisations.
As the task of establishing and developing an integrated sports system requires the presence of Qatari cadres with the highest professional and scientific qualifications, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the sporting events and tournaments hosted by the State of Qatar during the coming period, leading to the hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The FIFA Dispute Resolution Committee is the independent adjudicating body that provides arbitration and adjudication of disputes on the basis of equal representation between players and clubs.
