Doha: General Cleanliness Section of Umm Salal Municipality has disinfected 16 schools and kindergartens to prevent students and academic staff from the COVID-19 pandemic. The campaign was held to mark the new academic year.
Meanwhile, Al Shamal Municipality, represented by the Services Affairs Section, conducted a campaign to control insects and rodents in all schools located within the municipality's administrative boundaries, the MME said in a statement.
The outer manholes of sewage, garbage containers, surrounding streets, and sidewalks of targeted areas were sprayed, and the inner manholes of bathrooms, kitchens, and corridors were sprayed and disinfected.
