Mandarin Oriental, Doha has launched Mosaic, one of the city’s most exciting dining destinations, featuring a culinary journey that celebrates the convergence of East and West.
The new restaurant provides guests with an experiential “Silk Route” dining experience based on the gastronomic flavours from the exotic destinations of Asia, Middle East and Europe, while the interior design offers “family style” seating in semi-private dining spaces that are  indicative of traditional Qatari architecture.
The menu includes Japanese sushi, sashimi and robatayaki, Arabic mezze and grilled meats, sizzling hot Tandoor oven bread and exotic curries from India, delicate dim sum and wok fried dishes from China and South-East Asia, topped off with a selection of tempting desserts and sweets.
Mosaic’s nine lively open kitchens, reminiscent of traditional street markets, showcase talented chefs creating international delights designed for sampling and sharing among friends and family.
Until September 30, diners are invited to celebrate Mosaic’s official opening with a dedicated Culinary Delights offer, wherein one guest will enjoy a complimentary dining experience when accompanied by three or more paying guests for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Mosaic is located on the eighth floor of the hotel with indoor and outdoor seating, offering panoramic views of Barahat Msheireb town square, Al Corniche and West Bay.
Designed by French design agency Jouin Manku, Mosaic has capacity of 119 seats. It Breakfast is from 6.30am to 10.30am, lunch from 12 to 2.30pm and dinner 6pm to 11pm.
