DOHA: Many local and international businesses will be participating in the the ASPIRE4SPORT Congress and Exhibition, which will take place from November 16 to 19 at Aspire Dome.
A diverse set of companies and organisations have set their sights on ASPIRE4SPORT to tap into expanding sports business sectors including construction, sports medicine and sports technology.
Hamad Saif Buhindi (pictured), Executive Director of ASPIRE4SPORT said: “ASPIRE4SPORT has proven to be the gateway to the sports industry of the region, and we would like to retain our vanguard position during the 2013 round. Our aim is to demonstrate to the whole world, and specifically to Qatari companies, how business and sports contribute to the growth of each other.”
Among those companies committed, Grimshaw Architects plan to exhibit in the Exhibition’s construction segment, Aspire BUILD, while others such as Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) plan to take part in Aspire MED, its sports medicine segment.
Thhis year’s exhibition will be broken down into five key sports industry areas: Aspire TECH, Aspire BUILD, Aspire LOGISTICS, Aspire ORG and Aspire MED.
Also exhibiting in Aspire BUILD is Neptune Qatar, which brings a rich and diversified portfolio of projects. Neptune is celebrated for its exceptional work on major projects in Qatar including Sidra Medical and Research Centre, Al Farjan Stadium, Sumaisma and Barzan Youth Centre the new Qatar Petroleum building, Qatar Academy, BMW showroom at the Industrial area, among many others.
International exhibitors include UBIFRANCE – the government-backed agency leading participation of French companies at ASPIRE4SPORT. Spanish architecture firm Fenwick Iribarren Architects, which recently opened an office in Doha, is one of several companies returning to ASPIRE4SPORT for the fourth consecutive year.
As the leading regional platform for businesses, sports entities, athletes and decision makers, ASPIRE4SPORT 2013 will feature the latest sports products, services, and technologies while discussing hot-button industry trends and topics.
