DOHA: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) released a visual guide on its social media platforms yesterday detailing the step-by-step process for the Financial Claims Payment Service, offered by the Search and Follow-Up Department at the General Directorate of Passports.
The service is accessible through the Ministry of Interior’s official website and the Metrash2 application, allowing individuals to complete the process digitally and securely.
Users can inquire about financial claims by using a Visa Number, Sponsor ID, or Establishment ID. They have the option to select specific claims for payment, which may include fines, fees, and flight ticket charges.
Payments can be completed securely using a credit card, ensuring a safe and convenient transaction process. Once the payment is successfully made, users can download an official receipt for their records.
It comes as a part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to streamline and digitize public services, enhancing convenience, efficiency, and security for the public.
