Doha: Motorists travelling from Al Wakra or Al Wukair towards Doha can now save a lot of time as Ashghal has partially opened Al Wakra bypass road.
The 11-km road on Doha Express highway is open in one direction from Wakra to G-Ring road. This will help people heading to industrial area from Messaieed or Wakra as they can bypass the Al Wakra city traffic and signals.
“Ashghal partially opened 4 lanes in 1 direction towards Doha on Doha Express Highway (AlWakra bypass Road),” they tweeted in the morning.
“The newly opened road is 11km and connects south of AlWakra, AlWukair, AlMashaf and the G-Ring Road,” another tweet said.
