Geneva: The activities of the World Summit on the Information Society 2022 concluded at the headquarters of the International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, in which the State of Qatar participated with an official delegation that included representatives of several authorities in the country.
Over five days of the event, the plans of the International Telecommunication Union in the field of advancing the ICT sector were reviewed, in addition to presentations made by member states on the progress made in the digital transformation sector.
Qatar in the forum, which is considered the largest annual gathering around the world for information and communication technology, was represented by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with the participation of several authorities in the country, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the Communications Regulatory Authority, the Planning and Statistics Authority, the Mada - Qatar Assistive Technology Center, and Ehsan Center.
Qatar participated in the forum this year as a golden strategic partner.
