Show your Qatar ID; QLM offers free health checks on Friday

In a first-of-its-kind initiative in Qatar, Q Life & Medical Insurance Company (QLM), country’s leading health and life insurer, has announced to celebrate the World Health Day (April 7) by offering free medical check-up tomorrow to all citizens and residents of Qatar.
The one-day free-health check-up offer on Friday from 2pm to 8pm will be conducted in collaboration with four prominent healthcare facilities, including the newly inaugurated Turkish Hospital. The initiative, which is part of its CSR activities, was announced yesterday at a press conference by a senior official of QIC, QLM’s parent company, held at the Group’s head office in West Bay.
All individuals, insured with QLM or not, can visit the nearest QLM counters located at the Turkish Hospital, Al Safa Clinic, Abeer Clinic and Naseem Al Rabeeh to avail of free medical check-up.
Participants would only need to present their Qatar ID to avail the listed services.
At Turkish Hospital, participants can choose any one of the 12 specialties which included Cardiology, Cardiovascular, Urology, Neurology ,Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery , General Surgery , Gynecology & Obstetrics , Pediatrics, Gastroenterology , Pulmonology in addition to the check-up of Vital Signs, such as Body Mass Index (BMI), Pulse Rate, Temperature, Blood Pressure, Respiratory Rate among others.
The free medical tests available at Al Safa Polyclinic are GP Consultation, Dental Consultation, Cardiology Consultation, Vital Signs ( Weight, Height, BMI, Pulse Rate, Temperature, Blood pressure, Respiratory Rate), Random Blood Sugar, Spirometry, Eye checkup, Echo Cardiography, Obstetrician & Gynecologist Consultation, USG- OB/Gynec (basis requirement).
The free medical tests available at Al Abeer are General Practitioner Consultation, Dental Consultation, Blood Pressure, Glucose – Random, Cholesterol –Total, Creatinine – Serum (Kidney Function), ALT (Liver Function), BodyMass Index (Assess Body Fat).
The free medical tests available at Naseem Al Rabeeh Medical Centre include Cholesterol checkup, Urine analysis, Random blood sugar, Body Mass Index, Neurologists consultation voucher, Eye check-up consultation voucher & Dental check-up voucher.

Reinforcing the importance of this proposition QLM along with few medical services providers have taken a step forward to promote awareness and wellness for all the citizens and residents of the Nation.”
