DOHA: A service complex was opened in Al Wakra on Monday to provide services of several ministries under one roof.
Citizens and expats can avail services of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Administrative Development, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Environment and Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in the complex.
The complex is part of a project to set up similar facilities all over the country to deliver services to citizens and expats in their areas, the Minister of Administrative Development H E Dr Issa Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi told media persons after inaugurating the complex.
In phase one, service complexes were opened in Al Wakra, Umm Salal and Al Zabara. In the next phase, complexes will be opened in Al Shahaniya, Industrial Area, Qatar Pearl, Al Khor, Al Daain and Al Shamal. In phase three, all services of ministries will be available at these complexes.
However, phase four will focus on improvement of services to save time of visitors and launch online services.The Peninsula
