The said service is dedicated to urgent medical advice to speak with a doctor over the phone and obtain medical advice about a health condition immediately.
Urgent Consultation Service is available if you need a non-COVID-19 related specialist medical consultation in need of a medication refill, and if you have changes in your medical status and don’t have a near appointment.
Twelve specialities are covered under this, including General Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Neurology, Orthopaedic surgery, Urology, Dermatology, besides Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Surgery, ENT, Pain Management and Mental Health.
To avail the service, call 16000, and press 3 while for Mental Health, press 4.
It is available from 8am to 3pm, Sunday to Thursday.
