53 MME inspectors undergo training programme

The first batch of inspectors and observers of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment  (MME) has graduated from the Center of Community Service and Continuing Education at Qatar University.

The training programme for developing skills of inspectors and observers of MME held from September 1 to October 10.

A total of 53 trainees received 120 hours of training in ‘Wildlife, Nature Reserve and Fisheries Program’; Radiation Protection and Industrial Pollution Control Program; and ‘Human Food and Public Health Program’.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Joint Services Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment Hamad Khalifa Al Khalifa: President of Qatar University, Dr Hassan Rashid Al Derham; Director of Community Service and Continuing Education Center,Dr. Rajab Abdullah Al Ismail; Director of Training Department at the Ministry Mohammed Salem Al Hosani.

This program aims at developing the skills of inspectors and observers of the MME in the field of inspection and judicial power, which requires a thorough knowledge and skills necessary to carry out inspection.

The program is part of supporting the Ministry’s efforts to achieve comprehensive human development, one of the four main pillars of the Qatar Vision 2030, and one of the main objectives that the Ministry seeks to achieve within the national strategy 2018-22 and which is steadily moving towards this goal.
