DOHA: Qatar Foundation for Combating Human Trafficking recently launched a legal and social clinic with an aim to increase awareness among students and the community.
The initiative is launched in collaboration with the universities and several other institutions also plan to increase the community participation in combating human trafficking and protecting human rights.
This clinic includes educational and practical training programmes for university students and researchers to build their capacity and knowledge in combating human trafficking and to create qualified man power to have enough knowledge and academic qualification.
This training program will include several social, psychological experts related to combating human trafficking on national and international level.
The training modules will teach about doing interviews and taking legal notes and doing field work.
Any student who wants to join this clinic must pass an initial interview and follow a 95 hours course and assure to keep all information confidential.
