DOHA: ConocoPhillips, the world’s largest Independent Exploration and Production (E&P) company, based on production and proved reserves, yesterday announced the appointment of new Qatar Business Unit President, Todd Creeger succeeding Gary Sykes.
Creeger began his career with ConocoPhillips in 1986 and has held a number of senior business unit and joint venture leadership roles with assignments in Russia, Norway, the Caspian, Nigeria, the US, Australia and Malaysia.
Commenting on the appointment Todd Creeger, President, ConocoPhillips Qatar said, “I am honoured to take on this role and have the opportunity to continue the strategic vision of Gary Sykes whose leadership has seen us build valued relationships and positioning ConocoPhillips as the partner of choice in Qatar. Creeger earned a bachelor of science in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 1986. He is a registered engineer and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Creeger has been active in supporting philanthropic and community service efforts in the locations he has worked around the globe.
