Qatar Olympic Committee Secretary General Jassim Rashid Al Buenain met with the Deputy Commander of the Operation Center of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou Miao Chengchao, and the accompanying delegation, yesterday.
Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Secretary General Jassim Rashid Al Buenain yesterday met with a delegation from Asian Games 2022 Hangzhou Organising Committee at the QOC headquarters.
The visiting delegation is chaired by Miao Chengchao, Deputy Commander of the Operation Center of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou along with representatives from different departments of Asian Games 2022 Hangzhou Organising Committee.
The Chinese delegation's visit to the QOC was also attended by the Chen Yue, Charge d’Aaffires of Chinese Embassy in Qatar.
In this meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of sport cooperation and exchanged experiences, as the visiting delegation was briefed about the extensive experience that Qatar has in hosting major global sports events, most recent of them, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The 19th Asian Games will take place in the Chinese’s city of Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8, 2023, after has been postponed from 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic.
