DOHA: Qatar Rail has renewed its certification to three international management system standards which recognises its continued commitment to meeting world class standards in Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Sustainability. This accolade was a result of management systems audits performed by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).
The successfully renewed certification includes the three international management system standards ISO 9001:2015 for Quality, ISO 14001:2015 for Environment and OHSAS 14001:2007 for Occupational Health and Safety respectively.
From the outset Qatar Rail strived to attain world class standards in delivering its projects. This certification renewal is a testament to the company’s continuing efforts to meet and exceed these high standards.
The renewal of the certification provides not only governance and assurance management, but more importantly a framework for continuous improvement. Qatar Rail is committed to continuous dedication to build and operate a sustainable railway whilst delivering quality and service excellence.
